Creating a SERP
۰ Has your firm ever had any “Close Calls” in using structural software where mistakes were made because of not understanding fully how a program worked?
۰ Does your firm have a documented “Process” for ways to reduce your errors in using structural engineering software?
۰ Does your firm have consistent outputs that all engineers know to print on each project so that even managers who don’t use the software can review the job?
۰ What if you had a resource that could help you set up a plan for your company that would allow you to:
۰ Decrease your chance of errors in using your software
۰ Increase your efficiency in using software
۰ Increase the contribution that employees provide to your organization
۰ If you had all of this, would you be better prepared to be an even better company coming out of this economic downturn?
What do we offer?
We assist companies in creating a “SERP” which stands for “Software Error Reduction Plan.” As structural engineering software has increased capabilities, so too has the complexity increased. Not fully understanding a default criteria, or forgetting to correctly categorize loads (i.e., making sure your live load on the roof is set to “snow”) can lead to disastrous results. We can help you create a process that will lower your risk! We offer a variety of options from a cost effective group seminar to customized one-on-one training to help your company in achieving your goals. A few options are shown on the following page, but we are always happy to discuss customized options that best fits your company’s needs.
Why have SE Solutions help you?
SE Solutions is run by Brian Quinn, P.E. and Lisa Willard, P.E., who worked for a combined 21 years at the software company of RAM International (which was acquired by Bentley Systems in 2005). We understand the challenges structural engineering companies face in using structural engineering software. We have conducted hundreds of training seminars and customized solutions for companies that have allowed thousands of structural engineers all across the country to be more productive and reduce errors in using software.
